The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) will host its third round of Open House events for the Lower Hudson Transit Link (LHTL). Earlier Open Houses provided an overview of the LHTL project and focused on the capital improvements such as new bus shelters and intersection improvements. These events will highlight the Integrated Corridor Management (ICM) elements of the project that will improve traffic flow on I-287 and other key roads in Rockland and Westchester Counties.

Through these enhancements, the LHTL project aims to improve reliability and safety for travelers, improve the availability, accessibility and quality of transit services in the Lower Hudson Valley, and reduce travel times along the I-287 corridor.

Two Open House events are scheduled as noted above. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the project. The public is encouraged to drop in anytime during an Open House at the most convenient location and date, as the format and agendas will be the same.
