Catherine McCue, a 31 year resident of South Nyack, worked as an Administrator for the South Orangetown School district for 30 years before retiring a few years ago. Currently she is the President of the Salisbury Point Cooperative Board of Directors, a member of the board for Childcare Resources of Rockland and an active member of the New York Botanical Gardens where she is studying floral design.
“I thought I would spend my retirement between South Nyack, my home in Vermont and studying at the Botanical Gardens, but the announcement of the Tappan Zee Bridge replacement has shifted my focus” she said. “Working with the talent and expertise of the current village board, I hope to add my contribution to ensuring that we, as a community, preserve the integrity of our beautiful Village.”
