On Tuesday, December 1st, all residents of South Nyack are invited to a special meeting of the South Nyack Village Board. Concepts developed in conjunction with the Thruway Authority for the New NY Bridge shared use bike/pedestrian path and parking options will be presented and reviewed by our Tappan Zee Bridge Task Force. These concepts attempt to preserve the residential nature of our village.
This meeting will be held at the Living Christ Church and will begin at 6:30pm. The Tappan Zee Bridge Task Force will report on the progress made over the past several months working in collaboration with Governor Cuomo’s office and the Thruway Authority. As you know, the Task Force succeeded in their efforts to have the terminus of the path moved away from the corner of Cornelison and South Broadway and into Thruway property at Exit 10. Several new concepts to accomplish this will be presented to the Village Board and the public. We hope many residents will attend this special meeting.
The Living Christ Church is located at 151 South Broadway, at the corner of Voorhis Avenue.
I look forward to seeing you there,
Bonnie Christian
