Tomorrow, Tuesday, March 20th, is
Election Day in South Nyack.
This is a reminder to please come down to South Nyack Village Hall at 282 South Broadway, South Nyack between the hours of 12:00 noon through 9:00 p.m. Remember, your vote counts!
There is a referendum on the ballot to move South Nyack’s elections from March to November and to have the Rockland County Board of Elections administer our Village election and maintain voting records. A majority of the Village Board voted to place this question on the ballot so that the residents can vote on it. A sample ballot is available for your review on our Village website: http://173.236.34.242/~southnyackny
Since there are “pros” and “cons” to moving the election to November, Nyack Library is gracious enough to have fliers available at their Circulation Desk that present different views regarding this ballot question.
Please don’t forget to cast your vote for the candidates running for the Trustee and Village Justice positions and on the referendum.
