April 7 through April 17
CURBSIDE LEAF PICK UP
During this time period, loose leaves may be placed in the gutter in a wind-row for pick up by the DPW vacuum. They must be free of sticks, rocks and trash. It is the homeowners responsibility to inform their landscape contractor of village requirements.
Beginning in mid April, leaves, grass clippings and other yard debris should be put in bio-degradable bags and placed on the grass between the sidewalk and the curb. Be sure that the bags are free of sticks, rocks and garbage. Bio-Bags are available at the Village Hall.
Large Tree branches can be left whole at the curbside with cut ends facing the same direction so they can be easily fed into the chipper. Smaller twigs and brush must be bundled in lengths easily handled by one person. Brush must be free from dirt, rocks and roots as these items can damage the chipper. Bundle with string or rope. No wires please.
